
Fr. Boulos Wehbe has been at NDU for 10 years, and in university teaching since 1983. He taught at LAU, AUB, Haigazian University, NEST and AUST, during which he served as a school principal for 7 years and the Director of the Student Affairs Office at NDU where he has participated and published in several of its conferences and books. His interests range from Ecumenical dialogue, Christian-Muslim dialogue, Cultural/Sociological/Anthropological issues, and liturgy. He has participated in numerous conferences, consultations and workshops, in addition to giving many lectures, in Lebanon, the USA where he lectured extensively, and in several Arab and European countries. He is affiliated with the Faith and Unity unit at the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), and has worked closely with the World council of Churches (WCC), the Lebanese and the Arab Forums for Muslim-Christian dialogue, as well as with many other local, regional and international bodies. He is the coordinator of the Joint Christian Education Committee, which is producing Ecumenical Christian Education books under the auspices of the Synod of the Patriarch of the East, and is a priest in the Antiochaian Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut. Fr. Wehbe is married to Maha Milki, the Coordinator of the Women’s Program at the MECC and has one daughter. He has written and published numerous articles and sections of books related to Ecumenical dialogue, Christian-Muslim dialogue, Cultural/Sociological/Anthropological issues, social issues and liturgy, and has reviewed the translation of 3 major works for the Arab Association of Translation and otherwise, in addition to undertaking instant in major conferences in Lebanon. He has been giving, hosting and participating in regular TV shows and appearances on Lebanese and regional TV’s, especially TeleLumiere/Noursat.
