My academic interests are two-fold: First, how teachers of English Language handle teaching material and classrooms; second, how students perceive or approach English Language classrooms. For the first objective, I am actively involved in preparing for workshops in and outside NDU. Inside NDU, and under the guidance of the Faculty of Humanities at Zouk Campus, I have arranged for workshops that many school teachers in North Lebanon attended at NDU-NLC. Outside NDU, I am the vice president for the Association of Teachers of English in Lebanon (ATEL), and I have been actively involved in preparations for the association’s workshops and conferences, where Lebanese and foreign trainers address our school teachers and guide them at various academic levels. For the second objective, and again under the guidance of the FH, i am keeping a close observation of students, especially outside class, by observing their work in our recently established resource center.
