Racha EL Berbari has a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering, Signal and Image Processing from Telecom Paris-Tech University (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Telecommunication), France. She was a part-timer at Notre Dame University, Shouf Campus (NDU-SC) besides several universities before joining the Faculty of Engineering at NDU-SC as a full-time faculty member in the rank of Assistant Professor at October 2010.
As a research engineer at the INSERM (Institut National Superieur de la Sante et de la recherche medicale), she worked with the collaboration of the european hospital Georges Pompidou (HEGP) on several clinical research projects concerning cardiac MR image processing.
