Charbel Bou-Mosleh received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. He then worked for three years as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Mechanical Engineering department at Stanford University, CA, USA. He was involved in various projects supported by the US Air Force, Sandia National Lab and the Toyota Motorsport Division. He was then hired as an Engineering Research Associate in the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department at Stanford University where he continued working on the same projects. He developed and taught a one-week course for the 2009 summer institute for undergraduates in computational science and engineering hosted by the Army High Performance Computing Research Center.
He also supervised several undergraduate and graduate students working on various research projects.
Charbel Bou-Mosleh joined Notre Dame University as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering in 2009. He is the author of many journal and conference publications. His research interests are in computational mechanics, fluid-structure interactions and mesh generation. He is currently teaching courses in the areas of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
