
Viviane Youssef Naïmy is presently professor of Finance at Notre Dame University (NDU), Lebanon and is also Director of Admissions and of the Office of Test, Measurement and Evaluation. She has published articles in a number of professional journals in the area of risk management, investment, corporate finance and financial modelling. Her current interests are in spreadsheet modelling, ALM, derivatives (pricing), and public debt restructuring. She was recognized for superior teaching, “Best Finance Professor” at Bordeaux Business School and at NDU and she received more than seven international awards in recognition of Excellence in Research as determined by Peer Evaluation. She worked for several national and international banks and she launched the first Mutual Fund in Lebanon, in 1996 and has structured one of the largest syndicated loans. For the World Bank, she assessed the feasibility of introducing the securitization process in the banking sector in Lebanon. In addition, Naïmy has offered numerous executive workshops in the Arab countries and has served as a consultant in cases involving banking and financial matters. Naimy is also a violin player.
