Rim El-Khoury is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Notre Dame University, Lebanon. She holds a PhD in International Finance from Sogang University, South Korea, in 2009 and a Master degree of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Balamand in 2004. Her research focuses on Capital Structure, Market Timing, and Misvaluation and Firm’s choice. Prior to joining NDU, Dr. El Khoury taught several courses in Accounting, Finance, and Economics at Hanyang University (South Korea). She has also taught as a part-time faculty member at American University of Technology (AUT). Also, she worked at World Vision in Lebanon where she assisted in making feasibility studies. She is the recipient of several awards such as Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award (2009), Grand winner for Korea Times Magazine Economic Contest (2007), and The Academic Excellence Award from the Korean Government (2006).
