Linda Selwood Choueiri has been teaching extensively since 16 years at NDU, especially in the first year of studies of all the majors; the Foundation Year, two basic courses; Design Principles I and II. Her interest is primarily to stimulate students to develop in-depth understanding of the creative design process and the how knowledge of the brian functions can support or block the creative process. Over the years she has taught in a range of courses, both on the BA level and on the MA level. Her main interest areas are in Design and Educational topics pertaining to the creative design process e.g. neuroscience, perception and students transformation. Furthermore she has published papers on teaching and sustainability; and on Left/Right brain influence in the ability to express a design process. She has also presented creative workshops. Personal creative endeavors are part of a busy schedule of teaching.
