Objectives and Outcomes

The student who graduates with a Minor in Accounting will be able to:

  1. 1.Demonstrate a basic comprehension of Accounting principles, concepts and technical skills;
  2. 2.Demonstrate through the evaluation and communication of financial information, the skills to provide information to internal and external users for decision making;
  3. 3.Show ability to analyze, compare, and evaluate information to provide analysis for short and long term planning;
  4. 4.Demonstrate knowledge of professional standards of ethics necessary for decision making;
  5. 5.Use computers and financial software for financial analysis and presentation.
